Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries

A simple, glossy treat for a weekend dessert plate or a last-minute gift box.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound strawberries, washed and completely dried
  • 12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 ounces white chocolate for drizzling (optional)

Method

  1. Line a tray with parchment. Make sure every berry is dry; moisture makes melted chocolate seize.
  2. Melt the semisweet chocolate gently in short bursts, stirring between each one until smooth.
  3. Hold each berry by its leaves, dip, and let the excess drip back into the bowl. Set on parchment.
  4. Melt the white chocolate, drizzle it over the set berries, and chill briefly before serving.
